I have a 3.5 hp Tecumseh pressure washer with an AR
XB3400 pump. Occasionally while running, the pump will
"load up" (start laboring as though it were under a
heavy load) when the trigger on the gun has not been
pulled. If I pull the trigger, it appears to relive
the pressure and will kick it out of this mode.

It is not a big deal, but sometimes if I have the
engine idling, and do not pull the trigger in time, it
can stall out the engine.

I have some information on the AR pump, but nothing in
the troubleshooting info touches on this peculiarity.

Thanks for any help,

doug
