Be sure and check the WEIGHT limitation on a dumpster. We once rented a
Bobcat loader to a guy who was going to save money by excavating his
yard into a dumpster and avoid the cost of dump trucks.
On the appointed day for pickup, the truck attempting to load the
dumpster did a wheelie. The homeowner had FILLED the dumpster with dirt.
The homeowner had to rent the Bobcat the next week (plus additional
delivery and pick-up) and empty two-thirds of the dirt out again. I
think he then abandoned the idea and hired dump trucks.
