How should I read the rafter tables in my county's code book? Is the maximum
length the plan length or the length of the board itself? The tables have
columns for high pitch and low pitch roofs, so I could see how the tables could
be read either way.
BTW, I'm drawing up plans for a new roof, in case you want a context.
