Vinyl tiles won't handle some liquids, are slippery when wet, etc.  I 
wouldn't use them in a trailer.

What my trailer has is AL diamond plate.  I bought the trailer that way, 
but it wasn't a super expensive option.  Assuming you can find a source 
for it, it should be a pretty easy thing to lay down yourself, will handle 
abuse really well, looks nice, etc.

I'd get that floor covering for a trailer again in a heartbeat.
