[Shop-talk] bead seating tool

Howdy,

Ok, is there any reason that a Cheetah bead seating tool should cost $340?

I.e.:

It seems like just a basic portable air tank with a big valve.  I'm sure 
the big valve and piping isn't free, but I can't imagine it really costs 
$300 either.

I have an extra air tank... Any reason not to weld in a bung and make my 
own?  Are 125 psi pressure tanks normally just welded and that's it, or do 
they need heat treatment or whatever?
