What I=92ve experienced twice now is sudden hard to steer at very slow spee=
ds: one time turning into the driveway into the parking structure (a few we=
eks ago maybe) and then again this morning, going less than five mph inside=
my parking structure. It didn=92t last more than one full turn to lock, ea=
ch time, once turning right and the other left.
Someone said: =93but that can also be the rack.=94 Rack was replaced maybe =
five years ago? They said it was leaking. I stopped trusting this shop a co=
uple years ago after a couple other issues. But, I don't think it's the rac=
k.
I=92ve seen no leaking. It was too dark to check the fluid level this morni=
ng but just now I did have to add fluid. Hopefully that is the issue.

For all the years I've owned vehicles with power steering pumps, I've never=
had one go out.
Do they go out all of a sudden or are there symptoms that lead up to it? If=
symptoms, what are they please?
