In need of radiator

I put it off for as long as I can...I think it's time for a new, stock
radiator.

You may have read on my web site the radiator I have is from a Honda. It
leaked a little, so I used Stop-Leak. This seemed okay until last
evening when it started overheating again. I think the Stop-Leak is
inhibiting the flow of coolant in the system somewhere. It could have
been my imagination, but while at the gas station, with engine running
and water filled, it began to back-flow. I tapped on the thermostat
housing thinking it might have have been stuck. When I did this, the
water began flow. Like I said, my imagination perhaps.

Anyway, the original radiator is sitting in my garage and beyond minor
repair (around $200 for a re-core) - as much as a new one.

So, I'm looking for a radiator for my 77 Spitfire. There were a few
different types, I understand. The core on the one I have covers the
span of the U-shaped radiator mounting bracket, not the one with the
sheet metal extensions, which is about 3/4 the width. It's 24 inches
wide I think. It's also not later model with in/out both on top.

If you have one, or know of someone who does, please reply to me
directly.

Thanks a lot,

Vic
