Thanks for the two replies on painting small bits.  Brad mentioned using 
a "cadnium plating kit from  Caswell Plating."  Can anyone explain if 
they are available in Canada, how they work so I might find a comparable 
product?

        Atwell mentioned "POR 15 rust-inhibiting paint."  Is that likely 
to be available in Canada - or would Tremclad Rust Paint do the same job? 
 How about Engine paint?

        When I got the body off the chassis, I noticed that it was the 
same Mimosa (aka ugly yellow) as the body, but under that was black, so I 
assumed black would be right.  As this is to be a 'good looking 
restoration' rather than a 'perfect rebuild' I guess I'll settle for 
black.
        Thanks for the good wishes - I'm having fun already.  I started 
the job 8 years ago, but family tragedy got in the way, so now I'm ready 
to get on with it.
