You might want to think about changing your outlook. To find a o/d tranny
will be expensive. You can probably find a parts car, complete with o/d
tranny for less than you can get the xmission. You'll also get lots of
spare parts. You should be able to strip a Spit in a couple of days.
You'd have a spare engine to rebuild at your leasure. Now you'd have one
standing by for when the current one takes a hike.
