Greg,

Having had to pull/adjust several Spit clutch slaves....  you'd need triple
jointed arms (or is it quadruple) to reach around the frame rails to reach
the cylinder.  

As part of the job I'd get one of the plastic tranny tunnels... and install
a trap door / access port for the next time  :-)
