Intake manifold leak on Cyls 3 & 4? Or as I mentioned before, a compression
test and valvetrain inspection/adustment seems called for.

FYI all the plugs in my '79 were uniform in fouling when my carb was bad.
Thats why I suspect your problem is elsewhere.
