The Firebird is ending this year (very low sales figures over the past many
years).  The Camaro is expected to be with us for a long while (good sales
figures).

Just read it in the news, at the end of model year 2001 there will no longer
be
Plymouths.

Always sad to see one of these old names bite the dust-my grandmother and
mother
came out to California in 1961 on route 66 in my grandmother's old, green
Plymouth
station wagon. It then lived on with us another 10 years, when it was sold
to my flute
tutor-he had it for years.
