The only problem with that whole conversation is that the decade does not
actually start till next year, along with the millenium it starts at 1 not
0.

A Y2K thread was going along with the Jag list but then it changed to what
do we call the new decade. I had sugested the zeroies but said it sounded
weak. Then some one said the aughties, some said that was better but then
some one said we should call it the "Naghties."

Then it was asked what do you call this years car.

Someone answered:
>In honor of Jethro Bodine, I suggest we use "double naught." <

Followed by
>I think naught sounds more formidable...as in dreadnaught
> ...or, I guess, doughnaught, which isn't very formidable at
>all...never mind.  JW

Another said

>> I suggest it be pronounced "aught-aught". An '01 should be
>> pronounced "aught-one".<

I then said if the new decade is to be called the naughties that makes a
2001 car  a "naughty one"

so LG&Nigel when U going to get one?? >8^}

the arthur
I'll wait for the prices to come down, and then I'll get me a ..... >8^}
