$6500 as a starting point is a bit steep.  It's a nice looking car although
I couldn't help but notice the "ripples" in the hood (bonnet).  it appears
the owner has done some paint work on it and the valve cover is not the
original color.  But then I am having mine insured for $7500 through
Haggerty because that's what I paid for it when I bought it new.

Do you think he means "Canadian" dollars?

Claims original paint.  I wonder what happened to the commission plate?
Note the ripples on the bonnet and ding in the left rear quarter panel near
the top.    Other than that, it looks pretty nice -- but $6,500??
