Some of you saw my post about my deal on the new Michelins.
I had them mounted and balanced Saturday, put them on the Spit and took a
drive !
Good Lord what a difference !!!!!
Since getting my 71 Spit back on the road I have been tooling around close
to home on 165/60 Bias Ply tires.
185/70 run great. Before I was reluctant to open her up on a good straight
road but not anymore !
Cornering is much better, the Bias Ply were causing the rear end to slide
out on a good turn. What did the world do before RADIALS ???
