That must be the "new" exhaust system I have been hearing about. It blows
the smoke out the front of the car so the driver can better estimate oil
consumption. It has the added advantage that your car is guaranteed to pass
emissions testing when the exhaust gases analyzer probe is inserted into the
"tail pipe". :-)
Or it could be that this header is NOT for a Spitfire.
