After the thread last week about the letters before or
after engine, transmission, body etc numbers, I went out
again and checked mine.
Its a 1971 Mk IV (BMIHT cert says mfd Dec 31, 1970)
My transmission is definitely FB6041 Its a 3 rail
standard Spitfire looking tranny.
Checking with lists, books etc, I can find no rfeference to
FB transmissions..
Any clues?
