Hi List,
Just got sophie back from a session on the rolling road...
Tuned up to 79bhp at the wheels.
Is this reasonable for a 1500 with twin exhaust, extractor manifold and
twin webers?
Unfortunately the mechanic didn't reallysort out the idle speed (which
is resolutely stuck at 1500rpm)
He diagnosed an air leak (what a supprise!)
He thought is was probably coming through the throttle spindles (i'd
thought I'd dumped this sort of problem along with the SUs!!)
Anyone ever attempted dissassembling these on a weber?
His other thought was that the throttle butterflies had come out of
alignment..
Again, anyone ever sorted this sort of problem (even in an SU?)
Cheers
Tim
