The second annual North American Spitfire Squadron "Spit-Together" is starting
to come together. NASS will be hosting events and meetings for Spitfires and
GT6 owners during the Vintage Race Weekend (June 14-16) at the Mid-Ohio Race
Track near Mansfield, Ohio.
We are in the process of putting together a schedule of events. In addition to
the Vintage Car Races and the Car Show, plans now include a "Pizza Dinner"
evening where we can get together to meet each other and talk about our cars, a
"Spit/GT6 Drive" through the Ohio countryside, and some fun "Parking Lot
Events". Planning is pretty casual and informal at this point, as we gather
information about the races, car shows, and other events being planned.
Several people have already decided that they will definitley be attending, and
a few others are currently listed as "Maybes". We are now at 16
Spitfires/Gt6s, 2 "Maybes", and 3 "Others" at this point. I will keep adding to
the list below as I receive more confirmations. Please pass the word, and have
other people who are planning to attend contact me.
