Well, the master mechanic was at it again today. Why does everything
take me ten times longer than it should? Oh well, at least it's fixed.

On our Toyota Camry, the kids have been complaining that one of the rear
doors, you couldn't open it from the inside. It worked from the outside,
so I knew it couldn't be to bad. Finally, after several weeks, I
attacked it today. Took the inside of the door off, and of course that
took a while. I'm looking at the mechanism, and except for something
being a little out of alignment, it all seemed it should work. Except,
no visible adjustment on this "fork". Following the other part back to
it's beginning, what did I find? On the side of the door, A DAMNED CHILD
DOOR LOCK GIZMO!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhh. Put it all back together. Everything works, but it took me
probably a total of an hour, for something that should have taken 10
seconds.

Moral of the story? I get 'em fixed, but don't pay me by the hour.

Brad
