Thanks to all that replied. I took Bob's advice and disconnected the line
before the pump - I was able to observe that I was getting gas at least the
filter (pre-pump). I reconnected and was able to start. Drove to work and
still had the car intermittently cutting out (though it seemed to start and
run just fine). I am able to restart the car, but it is a very unsettling
feeling. I just changed the fuel filter. Hopefully that corrects things,
otherwise I will change the pump too.
