James, If you keep everything under 12 inches from the intake flange
surface to the outside of the airbox, you should be OK.

Does anyone know the space between the cylinder head and the inside of
the wheel arch off the top of their head?
Im trying to work out the space I have to make up an airbox for my
single Weber carb... it's yet to be put on though...
