people were asking for them.... recent updates
http://www.teglerizer.com/triumphstuff/blackbeasty/bb_engine1.html

And now the time has come. I swore I wasn't going to restore this
one. But it's getting hard to stop! I wanted to just get it road-able, and
then sell it. SO SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE THIS ONE AWAY
FROM ME! SOON! Yes... The Beasty is now for sale. I've driven
it, which was all I wanted to do. Those flairs have really grown on me.
(I think a set of 205/60's would look better)

The car is relatively rust free and solid. The frame is in great shape!
The crappy welding (non gas mig) was supposedly done by a
bunch of military guys on base while back in Oregon. I spent many
evenings just grinding down piles of half melted mig wire burn offs.
But except for the 'cleanliness' of the welds, they ARE strong. The
sheet metal is not corrugated, but is nice and heavy (used to repair
the inner floors...pics to come)

A complete new carpet kit, new door panels, and a few other interior
goodies are included. I'll install the carpet if you desire. That way I can
re-install the radio tunnel, and steering wheel supports and etc. I'm
leaving
the buyer to finish the interior and any thing else they desire to
'update/upgrade.
Some small interior items like glove boxes rear deck panels, door handles
are not to be found. This is very near drivable resto project. The paint
will
hold as is, but could use a complete sanding and re-spray if you want a
show car.

To a few of you that would like to buy it, and then have me finish it for
you.....
no can do. A consulting job has turned into a full time gig. So my 'garage
time'
has been vastly reduced. So time lines dictate.... I move Whitey into the
garage
if I ever expect to have him repainted before Carlisle.

So guys and gals.... a few of you have now seen the car in person, as well
as
ogled the web page photos. What's this car worth? Some have said I'm
crazy to not ask at least in the low $3-3.5K range. Sounds high to me.

any offers? :-)
