In a message dated 3/23/2005 5:38:56 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,
Since it has been over 25 years since I last replaced the
rear trunnions, can anyone tell me whether or not the
plastic pieces should just slide in? Or are they hard to
insert. I put one together and ruined it. My dusty memory
tells me that it should slide together very easily.
Doug, my experience has been that they tend to need a bit of, er, persuasion
(i.e., block of wood/hammer).
*Mrs Irrelevant: Oh, is it a jet?
*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er,
Triumph Herald engine with wings.
