A couple of postings on the Wedge list have made me go into de-lurk mode and
bring something up...
I would really like to get myself a Spit shell with sills and rear wheel
arches still attached. Up here in Canada you generally have the bottom third
missing, and it occurs to me that in the States, one rust perforation often
condemns a car to "Parting Out" status. My Spit's rear body has basically
shaken itself apart at the seams this past summer, so if anyone has a shell
with original floors and trunk floor more than 80% existant within half a
day's drive of southern Ontario, you could save me a lot of welding! (If
anyone else has had the problem of the gas tank splitting at the seams due to
body flexing - turns out it's not meant to be a stressed member :-) )
