Truth is, I learned how to do this when I was about six years old, in 1959.
Dad's Triumph 10 sedan had the same lamps front and rear. This
then-six-year-old was wont to play in and around the car and learned quickly
how to get the
rims and glasses off the lamp. By necessity, I also had to learn (almost as
quickly) how to get it all back together!
My sister and I had already gotten into a bit of trouble playing inside the
car and leaving on lights or ignition, running down the battery.... ;-)
