Hello Listers, This is just a tip for anyone looking for a rebuilt starter
for their Spitfire. I just picked up a rebuilt starter from O'Reilly's Auto
Parts for 29.99 with a 10.00 core charge. I was going to buy one on Ebay, a
"buy it now" deal for 49.99, It's packaged as an Ultima factory rebuilt
starter plus the $18.00 shipping for a total of 67.99.
This is the same starter that O'Reilly's has for 29.99 plus 10.00 core total
3.35 tax total of 43.34 plus when I take the starter back I'll get my 10.00
core charge back. The only draw back, I had to wait 4 hours for them to get
it to the store from the warehouse.
On a side note however, I have bought parts from NAPA but they always charge
a lot more than what I can the parts for from MOSS or VB.
