I don't know if he was a member of the lists here, but I
just heard of a tragic death of a fellow Triumph driver
right near my own home. I'm writing all the lists as some
of you might have known him.

He might have been a member of T.R.A.C. (Triumphs Around
the Chesapeake) but i don't know. I found out about this
as my won boss here at work knew the fellow in the Van.
the story as published i nthe local paper follows:

Severna Park man killed in crash

MILLERSVILE - A Severna Park man was killed in a car crash
Friday evening while driving in Millersville.

Michael Patrick Nash, 44, of 416 Ben Oaks Drive, was
headed northbound on Veterans Highway at 7:32 p.m, just
south of West Benfield Road, when he crossed the dividing
line into southbound traffic, county police said.

Mr. Nash's 1978 Triumph convertible hit a 2000 Chevrolet
Express van and burst into flames.

Police said Mr. Nash was unable to escape from his car,
and emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.

The driver of the van, Robert George Andersen, 71, of Glen
Burnie, was not injured and refused medical care, police
said.

Mr. Nash's body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office
in Baltimore.

Witnesses told police that both drivers appeared to be
within the speed limit. Police don't know whether alcohol
or drugs were involved in the crash.
