I'm surprised no one has suggested moving the pedals. The idea would
be to modify the master cylinder hangers for clutch a brake. Of
course, the most important pedal is the throttle since that's the one
you have to hold your foot on (also the one that makes the car get
louder). The throttle pedal would require a differen treatment.
There isn't much extra room for the pedals to bottom out against the
firewall but one could still gain an inch or so maybe.
