There appears to be some confusion understanding that Moss Europe Ltd.
in England, and Moss Motors in Goleta, California, are separate and
distinct companies.

Moss Europe began its evolution in the late 1960's when a group of
English enthusiasts formed the TR Register. As the original company
expanded and evolved over the years, it had different names and acquired
other companies; Cox & Buckles, Sprite & Midget Centre, Triumph Tune,
Naylor Brothers. Eventually, it all became known as the Classic British
Sportscar Spares Group. We Yanks became involved in 1989 when Classic
British Sportscar Spares Group was acquired by the Milard Group, parent
owner of Moss Motors in Goleta. The English operation was renamed "Moss
Europe" and soon absorbed M&G International, another major classic parts
supplier.

The American connection did not last long, and in early 1993, Moss
Europe was acquired by Ingham PLC, a publicly traded company on the
London stock exchange. Moss Europe now has six offices in England.
Moss Europe has retained the same logo, as well as a "strong
assosciation" with the American company.

I have found that Moss Europe parts numbers closely follow the original
Austin-Healey numbers and their exploded drawings quite comprehensive.
Significantly, I have found that their prices are significantly less
than what we pay in this country.
