You're right, thats the record as far as I'm concerned. The car was almost new
when you started. I hope it does not take another 27 years.

I might have the record - my simple repair job started in January of 1970 -
not quite finished yet.
Car is in a million pieces and I've moved four times including one from
California to Michigan.
