Without seeing it, it may be a "factory option" which is very differewnt
from the later stock sway bars. It may also be an old JC Whitney
special.

If anyone is interested I have a hardly used Addco 7/8" sway bar (front)
And a 3/4" rear for a 1/4 leaf Spridget.
These have less then 1,000 miles on them. All urethane bushings, too big
for everyday street use unless you are 17 years old and like the feel of
the road (including the white stripes) bunp-bang-bump-bang!
