>From the list and some off-line messages, it appears that the Rivergate
5-speed conversion has a clutch problem when the STANDARD BUGEYE MASTER
CYLINDERS and DRUM BRAKES are used in conjunction with the
RIVERGATE-SUPPLIED CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER.

Could those of you who have this exact configuration please tell me how
well you feel the clutch works?

(It appears that a conversion to disc brakes comes with either the newer
post-Bugeye master cylinders (larger clutch bore?), or the old clutch
cylinder rebored, and that these vehicles may not have the problem. Let's
please not discuss these configurations, as it will confuse this particular
issue.)

Yes, I have communicated with Rivergate, but I'd like to hear from users
without putting words in anyone's mouth.

Thanks,

Daryl
