I don't know, that's why I think hearing from our British members would
help clear the air (pun intended) and generate some ideas. From what I've
read on the list, just removing smog controls may cause loss of power
unless it is done with an understanding of how the engine breaths with and
without the controls. From 1275 to 1500 is a 17% increase in displacement.
One would think that this would result in more power, maybe more torque, if
both engines are set up to breath as efficiently as possible. But here you
take me into deeper waters...

Did your mods produce more power? More fuel efficiency? More smoke?
Enquiring minds want to know.
