It certainly would. The more places the events are listed the better!
I seem to always find out about them after they are history.
I am also looking for information pertaining to get-togethers that may
not be sponsored by clubs, the informal things that may not be listed on
events pages.
Also, sometimes a person has to hit me over the head with information
about an upcoming event, I don't often check Web pages - but I do check
my email twice a day. If an event listing is sent to the list - I'm
sure to see it (which gives me a better chance to attend).
If this is something listers feel is not a proper use of the list then
the notices can be sent to me at valntine@postoffice.ptd.net. I
certainly don't want to mis-use the list or offend anyone.
