Front Wire hub grease cap?

Can someone give me a hint to the best way to get the hub off the front of a 
wire wheel 68 Midget? I am really having a problem either removing the cap 
that is inside the splined axel that covers the nut or the bolts holding the 
spline on to the the rotor.

Just looking for hints before I destroy it to get it off.
