Hi Scott, unfortunately I cannot substantiate it. I had thought my "British 
Motor Industry Heritage Trust" certificate had it listed as "Optional 
Equipment" but instead is listed as "Details of Equipment".  I know some of the 
equipment on the list is not optional so this list is of no use at all.

Thanks, Dave - of course, this is the 'hoped for' answer.

Second part - where is this in 1960's articles, writings, advertising, pictures
(i.e., factory promotional photo/drawing), manuals, ANYTHING that states or
shows the Bugeye without the front bumper (a mention of the heater would be
nice, too).

SCCA kinda requires folks to prove their assertions about non-optional pieces.
