Philip,
My '78 Midget has a fabric - type hose about 15" long, but my '70 sprite has
a much longer elbow - shaped metal pipe section which the filler cap fits
to, and only a short flexible rubber hose connection to the tank - about 4"
Guess youv'e got hold of the earlier part.
