sounds to me like the brake dust shield got a little bent when you where 
pulling of the hub/rotor just bend it back so it is not touching the 
rotor or since it was wobbly at one point possible bad wheel bearings. 
The part about tightening the nut sounds like you are missing the spacer 
that is supposed to be between the bearings.
