Hi List,
Some wisdom relating to the standard SU fuel pump.
1. If the pump fails to click it needs to be hit with a hammer.
2. If the pump fails to click after being hit with a hammer it needs
replacing.
3. If the pump clicks after to being hit with a hammer it will soon need
replacing.
4. If the pump clicks real fast you out of petrol/gas.
5. Although a pump may click the only time it tells you is that it is time
for a drive.
