I'll cast my vote for the Haynes Manual.
I actually have the Bentley and Clymer books too
but have found that i usually end up referring back to the Haynes.
Seems to me that on at least one occasion though I was very glad
to have more than one book on the subject.

The Haynes is under $20
The Bentley is around $45 (but has some cool stuff)
and I think the Clymer book is out of print.
I found mine at a swap meet (thanks again to Ulix) for $8
