I have gotten a few responses and thought I'd share what I found.
Dayton Wire Wheel (1/800/862-6000) refurbishes wire wheels at
their factory for $85 each. An additional $65 if you need a new
spline.
British Wire Wheel ( 831/479-4495 and
http://www.britishwirewheel.com ) gave me a quote for new wire
wheels - painted costs $155/each while chrome runs $225/each -
plus shipping.
I'm still not sure which way to go.
