While I believe that delivery problems can and do occur, I can be sure that
on most occassions it is not the postal service that is at fault!

I am a postmaster and must tell everyone that our efforts to ensure delivery
is outstanding...we are monitored by Price Waterhouse, an outside firm, on
our mail processing goals and "on time" delivery. Nationally we are
averaging 94% on time delivery for priority mail which is fantasic for a
mere
$3.20.

I know that I am in for a ton of retorts but I have to speak from
experience,
I order parts from everywhere in the US and insisted on priority mail
because
it works great!

Thank you for listening to me.
