I have heard the opinion that most available sidescreen seals are cra.. er,
"of questionable quality" Is this true? If anybody makes decent ones who
are they, and what kind of price do they ask?

Mine are nonexistent, and this morning, due to the lateral force on a
highway ramp, a fair amount of rain water slid up my passenger door,
through the gap beneath the 'screen frame and sluiced me in the face.
 Invigorating.

If all available seals are garbage I'm going to go up to Metro Molded Parts
and see if I can't cobble up something. If I find something suitable for
the "we tight" crowd I'll let you know.

Thanks everybody for the advice on the top header rail. I got a piece of
1/4" round, 36" long brass rod ($3 at the hardware store) that fits into
the channel nicely and so far it's watertight to 75mph. It's been raining a
lot lately. I think the car likes it, reminds it of home.
