Just put it in boiling water.  At sea level pressure you know you'll be at 
212 (at 1000 feet it's 210, at 2000 ft it's 208).  Careful to make sure the 
water is thoroughly boiling, and not to touch the pan with the sensor, or 
you'll be off of 212.
