Charles,

You will need to drain at least a small amount of coolant if you don't want
coolant to spill down the front of the engine when the housing is removed.

It's been a long time since I've driven in the rain, or with the top on for
that matter. Though I own two hardtops, a softop, and tonneau, none of them
will fit over the rollbar of my current driver. That won't be the case on
my other two... when they are drivable again.
