The Clarici Invasion is over!
I made it home with only 2 minor problems. (burnt up a set of points and
ran at 220* most of the way home)
Over 1000 miles in about 17 hours in a Sprite in 1 day was just a bit
too much.
Left Ron's at 7:00am central time and arrived home at 1:00am eastern.
Had a few pit stops and about an hour repair in mid Ohio to replace
points and try to get the temp down. Yes Ron the belt was a bit loose
when I looked this morning.
I had one of the best trips of my life. LBCs the whole way.
Thanks to all the people I met along the way;
John Twist (University Motors) Grand Rapids, MI
Les Myer (PDLJMPR) Coloma, MI
Ed Kalec (Just Brits) in the Windy City
Peter Caldwel (NOS Imports and World Wide Auto) Madison, WI
Dave Woerpel (Beautiful Leaf Green Bugeye)
Gary Speckman (Team Thicko) for the ride around Road America
WST aka Flounder (Team Thicko) Where's my "Drive it like you Stole it"
sticker?
And very special thanks to Ron and Lynette Soave for keeping me for a
few days. (Hey Simba- What's for dinner tonight?)

If any of you have even the slightest desire to hop in a spridget and
drive a few thousand miles, I highly recommend it. :)
No problems that could not be fixed on the road side. the timing chain
was loose before I left and the parts were delivered to Rons so we had
something to do one night.

Drive it like you STOLE it (WST-TT)
Frank
