Hi Michael,

If no one else has answered let me.  A dash pot is a device on a SU
carb.  It is filled with a light oil, and will keep the SU carbs from
cycling.  That is very brief.  Most use a 20 wt oil,  You put the oil in
at the dip stick.  Not much, about a tablespoon.
