For those who have asked, I used the following product when glueing the
foam and vinyl to my console:
3M
Hi-Strength 90
Spray Adhesive
It comes in a black can for around $12/can at Home Depot.
It was a messy job but mineral spirits cleans it up nicely. I suggest that
after you spray the adhesive, allow it to get tacky before applying to your
work piece.
