Listers,

I think that Sprite wheels would probably be the cheapest and easiest to
fit. Oh, you could go up to 14" by using a Morris Minor wheel but they are
only 3 1/2" wide and can't take much of a tyre. How about Vega 13X6. They
bolt right on after you bore the center hole out to 2 3/4" but would also
require one to cut out the rear wheel arch on anything other than Bugetes
and those early-70s models with the round rear arches. You also could try
Opel or BMW wheels at 100mm or Fiat & Alfa at 98mm but these will only work
with standard tapered lugnuts in steel wheels - machined alloy wheels are
more precision while the taper allows some slack. Oh yes, the Nash
Metropolitan wheel fits right on - as I said, Sprite wheels would probably
be the cheapest and easiest to fit.
